    Undoubtedly the most consumed product in Torlak cuisine is potatoes. All kinds of dishes are prepared from it, appetizers, soups and relish. Here's an interesting recipe from near the village of Chuprene.
In heated oil fry 2 stalks of leeks and 3-4 dry peppers. Put 5-6 medium sized boiled and peeled potatoes and mash mixed with roux. Put a salt and a little pepper. Stir until potatoes are fried. All measured by the eye and taste.
